How to make ads with Claude and ToMarket

You can make ads with Claude by connecting it to ToMarket's creative and campaign tools. Claude becomes the conversational starting point, while ToMarket supplies your brand context, image and video workflows, and authorized Meta campaign actions.

That distinction matters. A chat response containing a headline is useful, but a finished ad also needs a visual, a destination, an offer, and a place to run. The connection lets the conversation move into that work instead of ending with copy you still have to assemble.

What you need before making ads with Claude

You need access to a ToMarket workspace and a Claude account that supports a custom remote connector. For campaign actions, you also need an authorized advertising connection in ToMarket. Connecting the assistant does not create a Meta ad account or give you access to somebody else's business.

Have a real offer ready. A product page, accurate product photos, and a clear description of the customer problem are more useful than a long list of fashionable adjectives. If the offer includes a discount or a specific product claim, provide the terms and evidence instead of asking the assistant to invent them.

Connect the workspace you want to use

Add ToMarket as a custom remote connector in Claude, using this server address:

https://api.tomarket.io/api/customer-mcp

Follow the ToMarket authorization flow and review the requested access. Choose the workspace that contains the brand and offer you intend to advertise. Claude's connector interface and availability can change, so use Anthropic's current custom connector instructions for the account-specific steps.

A useful first request is deliberately small: "Show me the brands and offers available in this workspace." Confirm that the assistant is looking at the right business before asking it to create or change anything.

Give Claude a brief it can act on

Try a request like this:

Help me make an image ad for our ceramic travel mug. Use the existing offer in this workspace. The customer wants a reusable cup that fits into a commuting routine. Use our actual product photos and avoid unsupported temperature claims. Show me the creative direction before proceeding.

This brief names the product, the customer context, the source material, and a review point. It leaves room for creative work without leaving the business facts open to invention.

For video, name the communication job: a presenter demonstration, a product commercial, or a short story. ToMarket's eight video formats give those jobs different starting points. You do not have to describe an entire production pipeline in a prompt.

Review the visual, not only the response

Where the assistant supports interactive MCP Apps, you can make creative choices through visual controls. Some tools provide a browser link when an embedded editor is unavailable. The location of the editor can vary; the need to inspect the creative does not.

Check the actual product shape, label, colors, and proportions. Read any text in the image. For video, inspect the script and scene previews, then watch the finished piece with sound. A confident explanation from an assistant is not a substitute for looking at the ad it produced.

Paid creative actions prepare a cost quote for confirmation. Review the quoted action before authorizing it. Your assistant connection follows workspace permissions rather than granting unrestricted control.

Take the next step toward a campaign

Once the creative is ready, ask Claude to prepare a Meta campaign for review using the connected ToMarket tools. Be explicit about the offer and the advertising account. Review the destination, creative, campaign settings, and proposed spend before launch.

After the campaign is running, the same connection can help you read performance and work with supported campaign actions. This is the practical advantage of a shared workspace: the conversation can refer to the creative and campaign you actually made.

If you are comparing this with standalone image tools, our guide to AI ad creative generators explains the gap between producing a file and running an ad. The ToMarket MCP announcement covers the current tool scope and connection details.

Start with one real offer. Connect ToMarket MCP, ask for a draft, and judge the workflow by the work you can review.
